A Survivor of Occult Clergy Abuse Tells Her Story | Rachel Mastrogiacomo on The Dr J Show ep. 146

Rachel Mastrogiacomo shares her clergy abuse story, with its disturbing details.

Rachel Mastrogiacomo was groomed for predation while studying theology in Rome to serve the Catholic church. Her predator was a seminarian deacon at the time, and later was ordained a priest, serving in San Diego. On two occasions, this now-former priest, Jacob Bertrand, held private masses with then-24 year-old Rachel, during which he raped her. He told her that in complying with her rape she was becoming Christ’s special bride.

Rachel suffered devastating life consequences because of the Satanic Ritual Sexual Abuse by Bertrand. After years of silence and shame, Rachel told her diocese of the abuse, but to no avail. Her pleas for help and justice from the Diocese of San Diego, led by Bishop Robert McElroy, were ignored, denied, and deflected. Finally she was forced to go public and take her abuser to court. Bertrand ultimately confessed and was convicted of ritual rape.

What triggers Rachel now and provokes revictimization is the promotion of Bishop McElroy from San Diego to the cardinalate, for he failed to act when she reported Bertrand to the diocese and is failing to protect the vulnerable from Bertrand.

PODCAST: Natural Family Planning Versus Birth Control: Emily Grace Stark Explains | Dr. J Show Episode 231

Women are starting to change their attitudes towards hormonal birth control, driven by a condescending attitude from medical professionals, as well as concerns about the actual side effects. Grace Emily Stark is the guest on today's Dr. J show, and is is the Editor of Natural Womanhood.

Grace holds a M.A. in Bioethics & Health Policy from Loyola University Chicago, and a B.S. in Healthcare Management & Policy from Georgetown University. Adult Appreciation Week

In light of the Biden White House’s announcement of Transgender Day of Visibility, the Ruth Institute discerned the need for Adult Appreciation Week.

“’Transgender’ people are not the only ones who need and deserve ‘visibility,’” Ruth Institute president Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse said. “Therefore, the Ruth Institute will observe Adult Appreciation Week from Wednesday April 3 through Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

We honor adults who:
put their own interests aside for the benefit of the common good.
take responsibility for their mistakes.
support their families, even by doing unpleasant jobs.
tell the truth, even when inconvenient.
are in command of themselves, their impulses, and their egos.
wouldn’t dream of cheating others out of their justly earned awards.
do not knowingly mislead children.
protect the innocence of children.
present children with models of self-command, truthfulness, and fair play.
help children aspire to and achieve lives of responsible adulthood.

News Roundup Week of 4/15/2024

In this week's News Roundup, we have an interesting assortment of stories. To begin we have a pair of stories from the New York Times about teen sex, one lamenting the rise of deepfake porn of women and girls from their clothed pictures without their consent, and the other bemoaning the rise of teen choking during sex (its gross) but not advocating a fantastic solution: abstinence. Another horrible instance of a man, a member of Hell's Angels, claiming to be a woman being housed in women's prison facilities, this time in California. In an example of how the transgender activists don't abide by the dictum of live and let live, the man who sued a sorority to let him in is now suing the lawyers who represented the sorority. And, the big news, from the UK, the long-awaited Cass report has finally been released, and it provides a damning portrait of gender "care" for minors in the British Isles. All this, and more, in this week's News Roundup.

News Roundup 4/9/2024

In this week's News Roundup we have some encouraging news, this time from the Vatican. The Vatican issued a new document which lists grave violations of human dignaty, including violence against women, aboriton, surrogacy, and gender ideology. In the US, there was a piece by National Review which found that Nex Benedict wasn't the victim of an anti-trans crime, but rather was a sex abuse victim. In the less-encouraging side of the news, the head coach for the South Carolina Gamecocks women's basketball team said that men competing against women is fine as long as the he identifies as a she. Facebook's parent company, Meta, started falsely associating a Pro-Parent school board president in California to child abuse in its searches. And, in a surprise to no one, the Biden Pentagon used a flawed McKinsey DEI study to promote wokeness in the military. And there's more, in this week's News Roundup.

Transcadabra - News Roundup 4/1/2024

No,  that's not an April Fool's joke. President Biden really did substitute the Transgender Day of Visibility for an Easter proclamation on Easter. And his administration continued with the farce by listing a gender-confused man as a woman as the first one to celebrate during Women's History month. On the plus side, however, the Archbishop of Washington DC came out swinging against the Biden Administration's anti-Easter transgender day designation. To round it out, more people are finding out that contraception actually has some unpleasant side-effects they'd rather not deal with. And legacy media outlets are taking note. All this, and more, in this week's News Roundup.
