True Facts of Feminist History | Mallory Millett on The Dr J Show ep. 226
The same people who are telling us to celebrate Women’s history during March are the same ones who are telling us that not only are people like Bruce Jenner and Dylan Mulvaney women, but that there isn’t really a definition of what a woman is in the first place. Mallory Millett’s life in the public spotlight started as a runway and print model for Dayton/Hudson Corporation in her hometown of Minneapolis/ St. Paul, MN. She transitioned into a successful acting career with roles in Off-Broadway, On-Broadway and in film. Mallory has published nine feature articles, including “Marxist Feminism’s Ruined Lives,” which was called by Dr. Patrick Fagan, Director of the Institute of Marriage and Family at Catholic University of America, “the single most important reportage of the 20th century.” In 2016, the Human Life Alliance reprinted the text in brochure format and distributed one million copies to colleges and universities throughout the U.S.
Mallory has served as Director of the David Horowitz Freedom Center for over 27 years. She also sits on the Board of Regents for the Center for Security Policy. In addition, she is CFO for multiple family owned corporations. Mallory has addressed many audiences, including the Israeli Embassy in New York City, and the New York All-State Conference for Life in 2017. Ann Coulter calls Mallory “the single most important commentator on feminism in America.”
“Much of my work has been in response to the writings of my older sister, Kate Millett, who was a Marxist-Feminist-activist in the mid-sixties. Her 1970 Columbia University PhD Thesis, Sexual Politics, became a runaway best-seller. After Time Magazine made her a cover story, “Sexual Politics” became not only the cornerstone of the ensuing Second Wave of Feminism but also a trigger for the founding of National Organization for Women and its successful demand for legalized abortion. Kate also traveled America founding Gender and Women’s Studies Departments in, virtually, every college and University. Kate also founded “The Mental Patients Project”, wherein she maintained that psychiatric wards were unconstitutional. In the late 70’s Kate teamed up with her idols Simone de Bouvier and Jean-Paul Sartre to depose the Shah and foment revolution in Iran.
