Statement from Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse regarding the Hope is Fuel conference.

May 14, 2023

I regret to announce that I am withdrawing from participation in the Hope is Fuel conference, sponsored by Patrick Coffin. I’d like to make clear exactly why I am making this decision. For those of you who do not know me, I am Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, founder and president of the Ruth Institute, an international interfaith coalition to defend the family and build a civilization of love.

When Patrick approached me to participate, I told him that I did not agree with his position on the resignation of Pope Benedict. I have never said anything about this issue in public. Getting involved in this particular controversy would take me too far from the overall mission of the Ruth Institute. I explained to him that I may have to make a public statement distancing myself from him on this topic if it became an issue. We had a very cordial conversation. On this basis, I agreed to be part of the conference.

I recently learned that E. Michael Jones is one of the participants in the conference. Jones ...

A Survivor of Occult Clergy Abuse Tells Her Story | Rachel Mastrogiacomo on The Dr J Show ep. 146

Rachel Mastrogiacomo shares her clergy abuse story, with its disturbing details.

Rachel Mastrogiacomo was groomed for predation while studying theology in Rome to serve the Catholic church. Her predator was a seminarian deacon at the time, and later was ordained a priest, serving in San Diego. On two occasions, this now-former priest, Jacob Bertrand, held private masses with then-24 year-old Rachel, during which he raped her. He told her that in complying with her rape she was becoming Christ’s special bride.

Rachel suffered devastating life consequences because of the Satanic Ritual Sexual Abuse by Bertrand. After years of silence and shame, Rachel told her diocese of the abuse, but to no avail. Her pleas for help and justice from the Diocese of San Diego, led by Bishop Robert McElroy, were ignored, denied, and deflected. Finally she was forced to go public and take her abuser to court. Bertrand ultimately confessed and was convicted of ritual rape.

What triggers Rachel now and provokes revictimization is ...

BISHOPS STAND AGAINST “GENDER-REASSIGNMENT”

The Ruth Institute congratulated the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) for its clear-headed and compassionate “Doctrinal Note on the Moral Limits to Technological Manipulation of the Human Body.”

"With little fanfare, the USCCB has given a clear set of guidelines that, if followed, would end an enormous amount of suffering and confusion," said Ruth Institute president Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D, "as they stand against 'gender reassignment.'"

“Science shows that ‘watchful waiting’ is the best policy for the vast majority of young people who experience gender dysphoria,” Morse said. “Roughly 80-95% will accept their sex by late adolescence. The bishops’ guidelines for addressing gender incongruence would gently steer these youth and their families away from irreparable damage and into the relatively safe strategy of psychological support.”

The USCCB statement provides two requirements for medical intervention to be morally acceptable: if it repairs a defect in the body, and if it sacrifices part of the body for the sake of the whole. Removing cancerous tissue or a gangrenous limb is not mutilation, but therapeutic intervention.

“The typical person requesting medical intervention to attempt to change the sex of the body has no defect or disease that threatens his or her life,” Morse said. “Other less intrusive means can and must be found to alleviate the suffering of the person experiencing gender incongruence.”

“The bishops' statement is consistent with the best modern medical knowledge. Trans surgery does not prevent suicide, and hormonal treatments cause a cascade of serious medical side effects whose full extent is not yet known.”

“Less intrusive methods of dealing with gender dysphoria are both morally and medically superior to many of the current practices. Thus, this statement by the USCCB is not only in keeping with Catholic moral tradition, but also with the Hippocratic Oath for medical practitioners to ‘first, do no harm.’”

“The Ruth Institute is grateful to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops for this important and timely statement. May Catholic medical professionals across the country take its wisdom to heart.”

Trans campaign backfires: “This Bud’s not for me.”

s

When Bud Light received an avalanche of negativity for advertising with “trans influencer” Dylan Mulvaney, Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., asked “Well, what did they expect?”

“It’s hard to get more Middle American than beer-drinkers,” Morse noted. “Did Bud Light really think its customers would react positively to a man in an evening gown and makeup touting its product?”

“With shares for Anheuser-Busch, Bud Light’s parent company, dropping more than $5 billion, they’ve brought back the famed Clydesdale to try to counter this disaster. A new commercial shows the horse galloping across America with patriotic scenes in the background.”

This embrace of transgenderism by Corporate America is by design.

Morse reported, “The New York Post described how giant equity funds like BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street Bank bully corporations into making Environmental, Social and Governance standards, or ESG, part of their corporate image.”

“As a result, consumers are alienated and corporations see their sales decline, all to appease the progressives who make ESG decisions at equity funds.”

“This is a lot like Disney’s loss of business after it opposed a Florida law prohibiting teachers from discussing sexual orientation and gender ideology in kindergarten through third grade.”

“The growing parental rights movement has made it hard for companies to hide their support for the woke agenda,” Morse noted. “To companies like Anheuser-Busch, parents are saying, ‘This Bud’s not for me.’”

Media Proves Desantis Right About "Banned Books"

“When several television stations cut off a live feed of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ press conference on sexually explicit books, they proved his point,” said Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D.

The media and activists have accused DeSantis of book-banning for trying to remove sexually explicit books from Florida’s public schools. To defend himself, the governor held a press conference which included a video exposé of several of the titles, like “Gender Queer,” which include graphic descriptions of LGBTQ sex.

“If the books were so shocking that some stations refused to air them, why is it appropriate for school children to be exposed to them?” Morse asked.

“DeSantis is right when he calls it a ‘banned book hoax.’ This is a typical maneuver of radicals. First, they place books in public schools to indoctrinate children. Then, when parents and concerned officials object, they’re accused of banning books.”

“It would be amusing to see how many school libraries carry books like The Sexual State, which I authored. Very few, if any, I would imagine. But if a conservative district put such a book in school libraries and Planned Parenthood complained, would it be guilty of censorship?”

“The hypocrisy is thick. Thank goodness there are leaders like Ron DeSantis who are willing to stand up to bullies' false charges of censorship.”
